This is off topic but, you got a 1.9 60ft and you ran a 13.3 with those mods in your sig? Are you on stock 17s with the mts?

Sheesh! My 13.2 was with a 2.09!

Actually no love for the Kenne Bell ?

Don't see the difference between the Kenne Bell and the Whipple (intercooled), someone sell me on one of them please so I can make up my mind !!

thanks

Invest it in the engine. You will be much better off in the long run. Stroker kit and forged internals. That seems like a solid foundation for future (safe) modifications.

Larry makes a bullet proof tranny for the 5r55. Send it to him and he'll upgrade you

I would wait a bit and get FI though. You could do a turbo for 5. HP Performance

Yes, I got 275/40/17 M/T ET Street Radials mounted on a extra set of 17x8 stock bullitts. I am getting fairly consistent 1.90 60ft times, went to a very reputable shop recently, they said with my mods I should be able to getit down to1.8s with more practice, anything better would recquire a torque converter since I am an auto and can only psuedo power brake launch. I am happy with my low end performance, where I lack is in the mid to top end, can't seem to trap higher than 104 and the car really levels out after the 1/8 mile. Alot of folks on here trap quite a bit higher with fewer mods, trying to figure out what else I can do, hence spending more $$$ lol

I decided against the kenne bell based on a friend's performance at the track. His first two runs were great. After that, he lost 6/10ths due to heat soak and had to let the car rest for an hour at a time to gain back the time. If you know anyone with a whipple, get them to drive it to normal operating temperature, and then pop the hood and put your hand on the blower. No problem. Now, if you know anyone with a kenne bell, get them to drive it to normal operating temperature and I double dog dare you to put your hand on the blower. Trust me, you'll end up in a burn ward. Whipple has the edge when it comes to heat soak, and Saleens simply can't make as much hp as whipples and kenne bells. (Nothing against saleen and kenne bell guys. Not trying to start a debate.)

I have $5000 left to spend on my GT, I would loveto get a SC but I only have $5000.
Throw that $5000 into the volatile stock market and make the rest of the money.
Maybe invest it in crude oil. It probably won't level out until at least next fall due to market speculation.

(I'm taking two econ courses in college right now, had to throw that in there)

It was intercooled. The reason the KBs run so hot is the material they use for the rotor housing. It just doesn't disapate heat like the whipple.
