Well, I will have to check that out then Dex.......maybe thats all it is now. I find it hard to be knock after we pulled that timing and fattened it up so much.

And yes, this is the HO kit. Mustang dyno's read about 15% less then a Dynojet. So, 387hp x 1.15 = 445rwhp on 8 psi.

Now, I've done some thinking, and gauges read vs ambient pressure. So 8 psi on my gauge is the same mass of air as 7 psi sea level being that ambient pressure here is 1.2psi less then sea level.
Meaning, I am not actually making 387rwhp......probably more like 370rwhp (about 15hp per psi)

I disagree that mustang dynos run at 15% less than a dynojet. The operating parameters of the dynojet allow so much adjustability, the you might find a 20rwhp difference from one dynojet to another. In any case, if you did go by that logic, you would be making even more horsepower than you think, because the mustang dyno would pepresent 85% of the HP you'd see on a dynojet. Here's the formula: 100 X (387rwhp / 85) = 455hp. Congrats!

I'm used to a 1000cc Superbike, so I would need about 800rwhp to approach that acceleration. I'm very comfortable with the power it has now that it feels like it always should have had this much . Smaller pulley goes on right away to help out a bit (put me at the same power level as a car at sea level with 9 psi, even if I show 10psi). Once the engine is built, I am sure I can approach 500rwhp and that should be plenty.

I do like being able to light up the tires in 1st without trying. With the smaller (3.375") pulley it would start to break loose in 2nd. Fun times.

I've read about that trans plate....seems odd that I wouldn't hear it before, but hear it sans Whipple.
'sans' means 'without.'
