Default Vortech Supercharger

I am curious what everyone thinks of the Vortech blower for an 08? It seems like good bang for the buck. I was thinking that maybe I would just do CAI, tune and gears but now I am thinking that I will do blower, tune and maybe gears later. Would love to hear your opinion.

Vortech, Paxton, Procharger, Kenne Belle, Whipple or Saleen. Whichever blower/type you wish to go with, all have been used through and through on these forums without any problems.

Vortech makes a quality product. If your going with a Centrifical Blower, then Vortech or Paxton would be the route to go IMO. Heckuva bang for the Dollar!

Just be aware that a Centrifical blower will drive alot differently than a roots or a twin screw. A Centri type blower is basically a belt driven turbo, and will build boost with engine RPM, whereas a Roots or a twin screw will make the same boost from 2500 rpms till redline. Not nessacarily a bad thing, just making sure you understand the difference.

Yep bang for the buck. The vortech looks like the powerdyne supercharger which is about 2gs.
