Default Supercharger pulley question

This is specific tomy Whipple, but I assume it would be the same for any twin screw blower (or blower period, for that matter). In general, all things being equal, does the smaller pulley size generate more boost? Or is it the other way around? I have a 3.5" and a 3.75" pulley for my Whipple (Gen II, if that matters). When I ordered it, I asked for an 8psi pulley in addition to the 7psi one that normally comes with the kit. I have been assuming that the 8psi onewould be the smaller of the two. Would not the smaller pulley be spun "faster" and create more boost? Or do I have that backwards?

smaller size diameter = more boost. Generally each size down = 1psi added boost

Smaller = more boost. My 3.375" pulley = 10lbs.

Wouldn't a 1/4" pulley difference be more then 1 PSI of boost? I thought the pulleys come in 1/8" sizes. That would make the smaller one 2 PSI more right?

The 8psi pulley is 3.625, not 3.5.
