A buddy of mine has a 2006 FOOSE Mustang and he wants to put a supcharger on it. He wants too keep the functional shaker hood. I was hoping Vortech made a kit that would match up with the shaker. Do they? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, any centris will work...
Saleen is the only twin screw that works with the Shaker so far.

I just bought a Aeroform/Fang hood/shaker, but got the 'hoodmount' plate that attaches the scoop to the underside of the hood (hollow hood/still functional ram air to the airbox thru ducting in between hood layers)hoodlooks like it will have slightly more room than the stock hood...will be a couple weeks, but once its on, a guy at church has a KB on his I can probably measure up...I'm really hoping to get one of those- his car (auto 05) ran 14.2 stock, 12.5 out of the box with the Kenne bell...sounds like fun

while the shaking shaker is pretty cool, I kinda like the idea of being able to see the engine with the hood up, yet still having a functional scoop that looks exactly like the shaker with the hood shut...and I cant help but wonder if the shaker base/engine cover wouldnt cost some hp due to basically being like a blanket over the intake...those covers have almost GOT to trap some heat...

the last pic is the one that shows the underhood mount- got it from www.aeroform.com, and even a couple hundred bucks than the 'shaking' shaker...same OEM ford cast top, just dont mount to an engine cover...
