i can only comment on the whipple as i have not owned or driven a turbo. but the whipple isvery dependable, the engine temps are the same as before the whipple, i can drive it all day. i took it on a cruise from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm taking stops here and there to eat and take breaks, no problems whatsoever. if you have no plans to exceed 450 hp range and drive mostly on the street, sounds like a whipple would be for you. TT seems more for the track making big boost. but like i said i know very little about the turbo side, but w/ the whipple i am very satisfied at about 460 rwhp/ 430 tqand instant boost, great for the street.

buy the whipple and install it yourself, save lots of money doing it that way. trust me, myself and many other guys who are not mechanics have had no problems putting the kit on. the money i saved on the install bought me gauges, gauge pod, thump_rrr tensioner and cash left in the bank for other goodies.

Money is not a big deal to an extent. Looking more for the option that fits my driving, everyday street driving. I like the fact that the turbos will run similar to a stock car until I get into it. Stop and go driving, traffic, if I am right, the car will drive similar to stock.
I don't know. I'll be doing my homework for a couple of weeks before I make the final decision.
thanks for the input!

Your correct. A well tuned turbo drives very similar to stock until you go WOT. Twin screws drive that way to though. You have to get on the car to get into boost to make the power. Like you can slightly press the gas and even though your rpms will build as you gain speed you wont get into boost. Press the pedal to the floor then BAM your in boost with either type. Twin screws just make big torque a little earlier than most turbos. A twin turbo though will spool quicker than a most singles which is why they are considered better for street driving then a big single turbo which will have some lag do to its size.
If the twin kit has a good reputation and the shop is good at tuning and getting them dialed on the S197 I couldnt resist that temptation. If I were you I would try to get in touch with somebody locally with there twin kit and see what they have to say about the kit. Maybe even take a ride in it. It will sound like a freakin jet most likely. It wont take but 6-7 psi on the twin kit to make 450 rwhp.

Are you talking about the Fastlane twin turbo setup? If so, there is atleast one person on here who has that kit... if you use the search function for "fastlane turbo" I'm sure you'll find it... along with his impressions (very good).
For those of you wondering, here is the Fastlane kit... http://www.fastlaneincorporated.com/turbo2.asp
