Default Help, Bleeding the Dam Clutch

I have tried everything parking it up hill, slowly pumping it.
I had some press and hold the pedal while I opened the line
right at the transmission (had to lower the transmission for that)
But nothing seems to works, And I know line is not leakings,
than the clutch wouldn't work at all.

Any tips or tricks.
Pumping the pedal with open reservoir or closed?
How fast to pump?
With the car on or off?

You must have an 05 because there is no bleeder valve on my 06. All I did was jack up the drivers side about 1 foot. Leave the reservoir cap off. Slowly pump the pedal, both downward and upward. After about 10 or 15 pumps my pedal came back. I'm not sure I have all the air out because it feels a little lighter than stock, but I can shift through all the gears with no problems.

The manual calls for connecting a vacuum pump to the reservoir cap and then pumping the pedal.

@yurka

did it work to lift the drivers side, open the reservoir and pump the pedal couple time to get the air out of the system?

No, my clutch catches at the very upper end of the pedal travel. The clutch itself is still fine. Maybe have some wear I have checked it already with two garages. All I want to do is to get the clutch to the point that it catches somewhere in the middle of the pedal travel.

I thought bleeding the system could be a way. Since you can't adjust the pedal itself and the clutch is hydraulic adjusted in the 2007 GT.

Yep, I'm sure it's the same process for the 8 as the 6. When I changed my clutch i wasn't expecting to need a new tool to bleed it. Advance Auto has a bleeder kit with a bunch of adapters for around $50. More than I wanted to spend on chinese crap but I didn't have time to run to a Harbor Freight for reasonably priced chinese crap:-)
Anyway the kit did not have a large enough plug to seal the reseviour fill so I took a large rubber body plug, punched a hole it it and then stuck one of the provided hose barbs through it. Hold it down tight and after you pull some vacuum it will seal on its own. I'd have to check for you but I believe the instructions are to pull 15# of vacuum and hold it for 1 minute.

This looks like the same kit for $42.50 @ Amazon.com
Harbor Freights version is on sale for $25
