Mine cleaned up pretty well with the k&n air filter kit. Color oil is pretty close to the new color of the s&b powerstack filter. Cleaning was real easy, oiling evenly was a little tougher.

alright i'm going to order the one Gene K said to; i'm trusting you lol. i hope its the right one.

how do i oil it? the video shows how to oil a flat panel, but how do i oil a conical one? it has more inner and top surfaces too. anybody have any advice? when you buy a new air filter, does it come oiled like it did when i got the JLT?

New filters come pre-oiled. With the S&B cleaning kit, you squeeze the oil on the outer pleat and it soaks down. Oiling with the syringe is a PITA, but it's more precise than the K&N spray bottle.
