help with sct 3 tune!!!!!
I ordered the sct custom tune from bamachips, but i ordered it with the stockk tire size. The prob is i just got new tires, does it really make a difference? The tune will be in monday, is it that big of a deal to change the tire size only on a tune, or do i have to order another custom tune?

Just adjust it yourself. Select your custom tune and then go under change options and then after setting tire rpm (Correct Tire RPM should be on tire maunufacturers site) to nearest5 rpm hitcancel button to save andthen load. If you want to confirm you have it saved you can keep hitting cancel to go back to the start screen and then re-enter saved options. Im running different rpm limits and fan on points on mine from the tune as shipped.
If you cant get the tire rpm from your manufacturers website try tirerack.com and search that size. If they dont sell that brand just average the rpm of the other brands on their specs table in the same size. If all else fails give us the size here and someone will be able to help.

I have the same problem and asked for help with this too. To figure out rev's per mile, get the diameter (in inches) of your new wheel/tire at the rear and take it times 3.141592658 to get the circumferance of your tire. (that is the distance it takes to do one revolution) Then divide that number by 12 to get your circumferance in feet. Then take 5280 (=1mile) and divide that by your circumference in feet and that will be your revolutions per mile.
Now I just have to figure out how to enter that into my XCal 2 and I'll be set. But I see that mentioned above are the instructions on how to do that...I hope that works.
