Default CAI, is there a measurable difference?

I'm getting ready to buy a CAI and tune, have not decided wether it's gonna be Brenspeed or Bama, leaning towards Bama at the moment. My question is this, is there a big difference between say a C&L, Steeda, BBK or JLT CAI performance wise or should I just get the one that looks the best under the hood? Are they all about the same, major factor being the tune?

There is a noticiable difference. The car is much more responsive. I used to have the C@L intake with the c&L 91 octane tune. My car knocked with that tune so i just got rid of it.

i'd suggest the JLT cai, its the cheapest out there with impressive gains, 88mm.

The major factor is the tune. I have a brenspeed tune, bbk cai, and steeda delete plates and am making 297hp at the wheels.

Those are all good intakes, you can't go wrong with any of them. I'd recommend either a C&L or a JLT.

I don't know about the others, but my C&L with the Brenspeed tune works great. Which ever one you go with, you will love the feeling of the power gained compared to the OEM setup.

I just know that the JLT2 is noticeably cheaper in its construction too.. I like my steeda heat shield better and all of the components just seem to be much higher quality.. C&L also looks like a good one..

Is the Airaid system audible at highway speeds? At WOT the C&L sounds like a screaming banshee but at highway speed you can't really hear it.
