I should be back up and runnin in about 4 weeks, has anyone used MMR motors? And did you have good luck with them?

Sweet!!!! so tell me how this works. They send you the bottom end and you put "what" on it and then drop the motor in??? Are you doing the engine swap yourself?

MMR is building the short block and I am sending them my heads and cams to finish it off, they are also putting timing cover and oil pan on for me to. It will be ready for me to drop in and go. I might throw 16lbs at it.

How much?..Why not go custom cams since they will put them in for you?

Very happy with MMR so far. Holding together nicely at the track at 16 lbs and the dyno at 20(not track tested yet).

They're just throwing the complete heads/cams on. I'm sure if he wanted them to install aftermarket cams it would cost more. The heads and cams come off as one unit, I think.

Good thinking sending them your heads. It's not like your using them right now. How much are they charging you extra to do that? That maybe an option for me when it's time for a built block.
