Default Gears, Exhaust & Dyno Oh my!

So I went up to Dallas Mustangs to get 3.73 gears installed and the car dynod (I wanna see the HP before I start really modding, and before and after exhaust) So about the gears....I love it. However they had a scheduling conflict with the dyno so I went to get a bite to eat after the gears were installed. First thing I noticed was...Holy ****...it feels....WORSE!!! Throttle delay, slow shifting...slow as hell acceleration compared to normal. I thought for sure they must have changed the tune. When I went back after lunch it turned out he put the stock tune back on. I quickly changed it back to the 93 performance tune and allowed them to input the 3.73 gears into the tune....Much better

Also got the car Dynod and it will be emailed to me shortly...Printer broke that morning but I believe it was 274 HP and 271 TQ @ 5.5 or 6.5 RPM...somewhere between there.

So once I get the Longtubes, O/R Prochamber and boomtubes installed I'll get the car dynod again and see the actual HP increase.

Maybe I can get to 300 RWHP. Too much to ask for???

maybe not 300 but close...to be honest with you, by putting on the gears, it lowered theHP readingand the exhaust most likely didnt add anything either...maybe .5-1 HP, so in all honesty, you probably would have read a higher HP output before the gears and exhaust

headers and mid-pipe really wake these baby's up...i am assuming you already have a CAI with that tuner...throw some UDP in withthe full exhaust and you willbe over 300HP with a good tune

300s to much to ask for with just those exhaust mods. long tubes and the rest back might net you a 10-15 rwhp gain. Possibly 290 on the dyno?

250$ Install. They quoted me 3-5 hours...I think the guy was done in 1 1/2-2 hours.

I don't have the exhaust on yet. Probably have it all installed in around 2 weeks.

No UDP or CAI; gonna get a Whipple SC on this baby.

I will update with numbers when I get the exhaust. We'll see!

Let me know if you end up with any gear whine. $250 really isn't all that bad.
