Hammeron, just get Two bolts for the front valley and two for the rear and use two three foot sections of chain and cross them and hoist it out. The motor will cost just under 4k ready to roll.

Don't waste your time or money on that the chains work great.

Yep, it's pretty bad 12lbs of boost will do that!

Let's not forget that you were making 12lbs of boost at a much higher altitude than most of us. Not to mention your full exhaust.

Was that a mail order tune you had or did they actually dyno tune it?

Let's see some pics of the pistons from the top!

It was a mail order tune, and I'll take some pics of the pistons when I get a chance.

Dang you brought back some memories for me!
However I was only running 9lbs of boost with a kb system canned tune and stock bottom end. NOT ANYMORE!!!! Johnny lighting built motor and a dyno tune from mike murrillo...

I have a piston as a trophy sitting on my tv, and a ziplock full of allumenium in my glove compartment as a reminder of what can happen...BUT ITS SO MUCH FUN!!!

Sorry for your loss, its a sickening feeling.

Nice job Kolb

We had a Procharged GT come into the dealerwith about the same damage. Took the right side head with it. Come to find out that the vehicle had the original hot plugs still installed.
