I've had the Mac's on the car for a few months now even though I didn't really start driving the GT til April. The installation wasn't bad and if you follow Taco's instructions and make sure that youposition the hangers on the new mufflers exactly the same way as they were on the stockers, everything should line up. I took a Dremel and grounded out notches in the Mac's to align with the **** on the factory H. I haven't had any issues with the provided clamps but they appear a bit flimsy so I'll replace them with SS U's or the Jegs.

I love the sound and at 70-80 mph, normal highway cruising speed, they're almost unnoticeable with the engine turning at 2100 RPM with 3.55 gears. They drone at 1800 RPM, especially under load like a long gradual incline but that can be curred by shifting to 4th. At WOT is when they sound their best.

The macs definitly destroy the flows not even a comparison, Its like comparing the v8 to the v6 in sound

you can feel the macs in the ground when the car is pulling up from like 50 feet away , Its awsome. i wil be going back to them when i get my TT since it comes with a h pipe and race cats. I got rid of them just for a change. I had them with o/r h then with o/r h and they were louder at wot with the x but the h sounded better IMO. so good out side of the car but inside the drone was pretty bad. I didnt notice how bad it was untill I got my x pipe in.
