alright just figured something out. when i load my tune now into the ecu it doesn't ask me if i want to change the adjustable parameters. wtf. any help is greatly appreciated.

Uh, what? My Xcal2 still asks for optional parameters. I dunno. Call the place where you bought the tune from?

Tune still loads fine. no engine light on. so i know it is loading the tune on the ecm. could it be because one of the strategies has been changed?

I'd call the place you bought everything from. I use my XCAL2 all the time to change speed/rev limiters when I take it in for work, and I just changed the tire RPM on it a couplemonthsago when I put the new wheels on it.

The strategy should only change if you have to reload a new factory tune on the car. At least that is what happened to me, my SCT would earse the ecm, but not load any tunes but it appeared as if it was loading correctly, I thought the ecm was dead so I had the dealership see if they could flash it, they did but it changed the strategy. My SCT's firmware was corrupted, I sent the XCAL II back to SCT, the fixed it and unlocked it, but it took 2 weeks.
