self installed roush charger done
just finished up my self installed roush supercharger on my 07 mustang. the install was not hard at all but very time consuming with a lot of small things to do.(rerouting hoses and wiring, etc) the instructions were straight forward. the only hang up was that i sent my pcm to roush through usps priority next day air and when the guy went to have the secretary sign for it she was nowhere to be found so the mail man just left, so that put me a day behind and also there is nothing in the manual that states what to gap your plugs at but when i called roush they said to gap them at .032 i guess thats common knowledge since it wasnt in the manual, but i had no idea so i had to take the plugs out and then reinstall them again. all in all it took about 14 hours and that was taking my time, definately not a 8 hour job. fired the car up with no problems at all, no leaks or anything to be seen, the overall performance of the supercharger is exactly what i was looking for, its not to powerful where i wont break things and its not to slow either and i do like the whine, it doesnt throw you back in the seat or anything but you can feel the boost kick it.

All you need now is a CAI,smaller pulley, and tune..Big difference,Roush's tune is pretty conservative...I bought mine through stage3motorsports.For all three its like $1000,because you get the SCT xcalII preprogramed..I have seen other ones around $800.The whine with the smaller pulley is amazing.......,and it will put you back in your seat...[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
