Just Paid the 08 off what should I do?

Well the difference between what you paid and what you'll get is basically the "premium" that you'll be paying for the GT500.
From what you stated above, that looks to be about $3k. So ask yourself, would you have been willing to pay $3k over sticker for the GT500 originally? If not, why would you do it now? If so, well uh...your choice, my friend.
If it were me, I'd probably keep my GT and not get the GT500. It makes so much more economical sense. It's up to you in the end, though.

In lieu of the national economic situation your best (smartest) course of action would be to have as little debt as possible... owning an 08 with no payments puts you WAY ahead of most of the nation.
But if you want a new car and don't mind thestrong potential of arecession then it's hard to beat the GT500!

It makes so much more sense to keep the GT. If you really want a faster one spend some $$ on a S/C and get a conversion kit for the front fascia to make it look more like the 500. What's that gonna set you back $7k max? Better than the $20k+

The GT can be made into a more balanced car than the dead-horse-nailed-to-the-radiator GT500. If you've got the green to think about the GT500, think about how awesome a GT would be with a breathed on 4.6 and 400lbs less curb weight.
Think about it...

RE: Just Paid the 08 off what should I do?
Well made my decision after hours of countless thinking. Im gonna just keep my car since it is paid off. I will be looking around the forums to see where I can get the best deal on the whipple. I know steve from tousley ford has a pretty good deal but I also need it installed and live in VA Beach. Also Im trying to find the roughest Idling Cams if that make sense for forced induction, because Ive heard a few S197's that Have them and they sound awesome. Ive looked at the write up on cams on here so if someone has any input that would be great as well. Appreciate the help.
