Purchased New Whipple with new programmer
finallyordered a Whipple this morning and the sales man told me that I would be getting the new version of the Pro-cal programmer. The new programmer allows the user to change the gears, tire size and what not. Just some info he has not even posted in any forums. But I am sure someone knows.

Well if you want the tool it will not be avaliable for about 4 months. The tech at Lethal Performance just emailed me and told me that I would not get the new programmer. I am not to worried about it just as long as I get up and running as soon as get to my car.

Moose,
I checked my speedo on GPS and it is 5mph high. I think it is just something they do. They must figure better to read low than high.
Hey I just read that the FRPP tune limits throttle opening to limit boost. I was thinking it might be worth a $200 email brenspeed tune to fix that before I go get Dyno'd at VMP.
I want all of my boost, I am greedy

I am not 100% that he does, but I figure he should. Havent had a chance to call, but he lists he can make a tune for any FI.
Hammer, yeah I see over 9psi at redline with my 8psi pulley, but I was reading something on VMP's website that said the above.
"I ran it with the very conservative mail order ford racing tune and it made less power and less boost. There is nothing wrong with the ford racing tune, it just has to be designed that way because they have no idea where it is going. The FRPP tune actually limits throttle angle to limit boost, and give the fuel system more headroom (since the non-IC kit keeps the stock fuel pump)."
I have notices my throttle position wont go past 75% so I figured there was something up with it.
Here is a link.
