So I stop at a red light yesterday.
A spanish guy pulls up to me in a grey S197. He has a pinstripe that is ******-wire across the side of his car with 22' bling wheelsand has taken off his GT badges and put a GT-R badge on it (haha).

He revs his engine up.
I wanted to laugh my butt off and ask him why he ruined his stang with the stain of ricebut out of politeness I decide to turn around and give him a short wave.
He keeps looking straight ahead ignoring me with both of our windows down and then he begins to rev his engine again.
I figured what the hell...maybe he wants to hear me first. (he has stock exhaust)
So I revved mine up as well and as soon as I do he just put his head down and rolled up his window.
The light turns green and he waits for me to get three car lenghts ahead before he even starts moving.

I really am confounded at what he was trying to do.....

(this is not a rant just a wonder what the hell post.)

haha, I would be confused too, and probably would have just started laughing. I think he thought he had the better car until he heard u rev or something along that line...

Na I gave him the raise the hand wave. You know...the ones men do.
If I waved the wrist in today's world it might have given a softy or gayish impression.

Yea those scenarios **** me off... I'm like "ok big man you bucked up first, where ya at now?" Happens a lot with imports.

It sickens me to see mustangs riced out with graphics or every lil' stick on "bling" or fake vents that autozone sells plastered all down the side... what is even worse is the sixers that stick GT or Cobra emblems on the side, or better yet when they slap dual exhaust on and think they are fooling someone.... seriously it enrages me, followed by a "calming" speech from the wife as to why I shouldn't go and rip the emblems right off.

I guess he thought his "GT-R" and super-awesome-manly ****** wire car-tattoo would intimidate you into backing down. At least he had the sense to not make an even bigger fool of himself by trying to race your obviously superior automocar.

Modding their cars to make them look like they want is one thing. I am all for not keeping it stock, but trying to make it look like something its not, and saying its something its not- is something TOTALLY different. For instance, I wouldn't even dare thinking about slapping a snake on the side of my GT... I know there are people on this forum that have done it and that is their choice (in particular the ones that performed the GT-500 front end conversion-which looks great), but you don't have to put the shelby emblems on ...
