does ne one know when the new AOD tranny (up to 900hp) and the ratchet shifter is coming out ive been looking for a good while and have had no luck? any info will help thanks

I am not sure about the AOD Yea the TCIauto.com site sucks, they are offering a 5R55s race built transmission good to 1200 hp and even give a part number #571100 or #571000 in there ads but the website does not show it. they (forum talk) talk about the shifter being ready in july to august.

if they could get there stuff right there are a bunch of us that are ready for a better transmission.

The stock tranny's are poping even after being built. I went to the 4r70w built with a billet input shaft. I got mine from ST Motorsports.

Take a look at FB Performance Racing Transmissions out of Long Island, NY. I have their 4stb-e (just type 4stb-e into your search engine). It's based on the aode/4r70w. Mine is rated at 1000+ hp. They can build it to meet your specs. Mine has full manual valve body, electronic overdrive, converter lock up, and transbrake. It came with a ratchet Hurst. Has 3 gears in a forward shift pattern.
