I've been trying to hook up with a set of used flowmaster american thunder axle backs for a few months now. I'm really disapointed with the sellers on this board. Every time I get a deal set up, it falls through. Oh well, enough of the rant!! I guess my other option is to buy them brand new. Anybody out there know where I can get the best deal? I've heard of them going for as little as $275. I keep finding them for around $400+. Thanks for the help!!!!

I think $400 is a little expensive. I do know you what you mean about sellers on this board and other boards. I was interested in various items; I sent PMs and no response.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I sold some brand new ones just not too long ago for pretty darn cheap.
Brenspeed use to sell them for 300 shipped, but I do not see them on the site anymore.

I would be cautious in buying those used. Older ones had an issue of the baffles coming apart inside, and or rusting. Just like mine did. Got them warrantied, then sold the new replacements when I got them.

Are those the 40 series? I too had the 40 series, loved the way the sounded but I decided I wanted something else.

So how much are you looking to spend for a pair of used (about 4 months old) AT's? Let me know. They are the replacement version with the baffle issue corrected. If you are serious, I would be glad to go pull em off, and run stockers for awhile.....

Not sure about that, those were purchased 10-11/2005, lasted just less than 2 years.

brenspeednow sells them foraround $349. Ive got a set I will sell reasonably cheap! ..only had em on the car for 3 days and wanted something different, been sitting in the box ever since..Pm me if interested!
