I've read by people on this forum that with LT headers off-road x/h pipe with stock mufflers is quieter than running stock exhaust with boomtubes or SLP LMs.. if you can find someone in your area with either of those and ride in their car see what you think.. I know with boomtubes in the cabin the exhaust sound is more than I like to hear. If you don't want a louder exhaust don't change out your axlebacks.. no performance gain.. and o/r H/X pipe is such a slight gain not worth it either.
10rwhp on LT headers would have to be from some of the lowest gains you can see.. Many people have reported a 25rwhp gain from Kooks LTs and JBA LTs. (andwith forced induction even more gains)
a CAI+Tune changed my exhaust sound.. It's louder.. I'm guessing it's because more air is passing through.. but i don't think it's too loud, or anywhere near too loud.
