I ran a BAP on the stock pump for about 18 months with no probs. Supported 480rwhp and had more left in it. The wiring upgrade is a must. I just went to dual GT40 pumps, just replaced the stock pump with one and piggy backed on a second one in anticipation of upping the boost. Works great, plenty of fuel, and much cheaper than a gt500 system.

what parts did you get for the wiring?is there write up on it anywhere?
did you have any hick ups from the stock pump?is there something that can be done to get rid of the hick ups?

It's also worthwhile to run a 10ga wire from the fpdm to the pump. I have some instructions on it somewhere i can send you.
If your having issues with the stock pump already, i'd get them sorted out before adding abap. I never had problems with my stock pump. Not sure what trouble you are having with it. I think there is a tsb on the stock pump, not sure if its related to your issue.

yeah,every now and then,when i get on it,it just stalls forsecond,like the car dies,ive heard the stock pump gets a air bubble or something.

a guy on another forum,turbomustangs said the 02/02/04 cobra fual pumps are good,he suggested using 2 of those. he said he works for a shop and does them like this all the time.$150 for a set.
