Ford shouldn't have messed with the octane level. they should have left that throttle lag out. The tuners made a mint on ford's untuned auto tranny. Ford's not smart enough or willing to provide the consumer with what they want. Come on.

Exactly, you won't find an import that can boast that. I like the fact I can run on 87 when I'm just getting from A to B, and use premium when I'm racing.

regardless it is all about the MPG with these cars! That helps keep the MPG higher from the factory and helps meet the demands from the government and the people on better running and cleaner running cars that get better gas mileage than yesteryear! JMO
