His tensioner will now come standard with a billet aluminum 76mm idler pulley instead of the stamped steel one.
It's also important to note that if you are running a whipple HO, then a 76mm diameter pulley is too small for you. It would be best to order the Thump_rrr tensioner with no pulley at all (see if he'll offer a discount) and pick up a 90mm 8 rib from your local ford dealer (like $15). The part number for the 90mm ford tensioner is: F65Z8678AAA

Peter's tensioner comes with a 90mm pulley if you ask - it is $12.00 more...

I will be getting the Whipple HO Kit installed on my automatic Mustang GT and am wondering what version of the Thump_rrr tensioner would I want to order? What size pulley do I need or I don't need any pulley? I don't know anything about this crap, haha. Thanks.

unless you are going over 12 PSI you more than likely wont have the problem at all with an automatic. I have never bent a tensioner on my automatic and I am at 11 PSI.

Ditto - I wouldn't worry about it for anything on the stock motor if you have an auto.

Must have for the manual guys IMO at all boost levels.

From what modaddict says, you can now order the thump_rrr with a 90mm tensioner. If you are running a whipple HO, that is the pulley you'll need. Just let peter know when you order.

My tensioner was bent but I think it was the "installer was a bit overzealouserror" (me)!
