Default my friends mustang

ok i know im new to this forum and i have already tried to use the search but it didnt work....so heres my question. my friend thrinks he knows anything and everything about cars when in reality he knows about only the basics. he thinks his 08 gt is the fastest car in the world but i keep putting him down saying about how little he actually knows about his car. its an 08 gt with cia, stc tune(i think thats it at least), udp, front and rear steeda sway bars, rear panar bar, upper contol arms, magnaflow h pipe with steedaresonators, and a few other little suspension things. hes never been to the track but he thinks he could run low 13's (its an atuomatic by the way) so is he completely worng or am i just jelous because hes 17 and daddy bought him this for his bday and pays for EVERYTHING lol....sorry for the rant i just needed to vent after some of the claims he makes lol

Stock with a good Driver mod, GT's can run 13's. With those mods, and a good driver, he could break into 12's IMO.

On the right tires, he could see 12s.

It looks like you friend may know more than you! Low 13s are pretty easy in a Mustang GT of almost any year. A few bolt-ons, a good set of tires and a decent driver is all it takes.

These cars are not 18 second Honda's. They are American Muscle with V8 torque! Motor trend got 13.5 out of a stock 2005 GT!

I'd say low 13's are possible.
