Default cams and/or heads prices and advantages?

i'm sure this question has been asked to death, and before i get people tellin me to go search the forums, my search hasn't been working since the site went down a while ago.. so anyways, for the s197 GT mustangs, do people do this often? is it hard to do and is it pricey? is there enough of a gain or advantage that someone would do it if it was somewhat expensive?

While on this topic of cams... I have always wondered about cams with a supercharger. havent seen much on that subject so any help would be appreciated. I know they make cams that are designed for a supercharger but I will be purchasing my cams way before I will be able to afford a supercharger (at least a year at the absolute minimum) and I guess my main question is will the cams work well with a supercharger if they are not designed specifically for one?

no they wont. You can lose boost if the overlap is too close.
