Default 05' Exhaust

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone still looking for which exhaust to decide on slipping on your 05'

I just had the Mac after Axles put on, I swear it livens up the car so much!! It sounds awesome, its a nice deep sound that I didnt expect to much out of Mac. I usually like the Flowmasters (soundwise) on all other year Mustangs over any other but I have to tell you with the 05' its a real nice upgrade. The stainless pipes also look awesome from the rear. Its WAY meaner looking & sounding,...

BTW- added 3 RWHP & 7 RWTQ

I have these also and love them. Just as you said they tuck away nice not so for the stock ones and they look shiny and sound so freaking mean. As far as performance I don't have a clue if they are any better but that stock exhaust was just too quiet for me.

Have them too...

But what about the drone between 1500 - 2000RPM's?????

Sound under WOT is race car like...

Love that sound, but when I crusin' around town, the "airplane sound" can be irritating...

Just a thought...

Dear Cappi,

Go to CrossRoadzDirect.com...

They have Bullit Wheels in 17 or 18" (which is what I got)...

Also they offer 18X10" (deep dish style)...

These Bullits come in Black, Grey or Chrome...

Talk to Matt (the owner) and he will help you...

Good Luck, D

What size tires did you go with? They look great...

Dear Mauiboy,

I went with the Falken GR451 in 255/45/18 on the Chrome Bullit Wheels because I thought the 45 profile would still give me some comfort when driving, the 255 width is probably enough rubber to keep the car safe and the 18" because the overall height of this combination is almost the same as the stock tire height...

No speedo calibrations and torque hasn't changed...

I may go with a steeper gear set like 3.73 for my automatic because I still need some highway mileage. I hear that the 4.10 gears are "kickin' around town", but suck big time on the highway due to the increased RPMs and gas isn't getting any cheaper...

Good Luck, D[sm=groupwave.gif][sm=groupwave.gif]

I have the same tires...any problems balancing these tires? I have a steering wheel vibration and I think it is the tires that fail to stay balanced. They have been balanced three times in one month.

I like them, do you find them a little noisy around 40 mph?
