O/R X-pipe installed, have a few comments/questions.
My brother and I install my O/R X-pipe this afternoon. I'm running it with the stock mufflers. Contrary to what alot of people said, I actually like the sound. The fumes will take some getting use to. I do have a few comments and observations that I'd like to hear other people comments on.
1) At low engine speeds, I get alot of vibration in the cabin. Specifically around the shifter. Is that just something that I need to learn to live with?
2) Sitting in the passenger seat seams to be a bit louder than in the drivers. The pipes fit on tight, could this be an exhaust leak?

I didn't notice any more vibration than I already had (Hurst) after the install.
I'm not 100% familiar with the Pypes X pipe, but my Bassani is a modular system with 5 pieces. Every one of them leaked. I had them all welded and it quieter now.

A few bits that I'd like to share with anyone else that is considering an O/R X with stock mufflers...
1) Contrary to what everyone will say, an O/R X-pipe with the stock mufflers does not sound too bad at all. I like the sound.
2) It will probably be a lot louder than you're thinking.
3) It will probably give off a lot more fumes than you're thinking.
4) Be prepared to experience some vibrations from loose items/panels in the cabin.

I ran BBK LTs and BBK o/r x-pipe for a long time with my stock muffs and everyone said it sounded like I had flows. I liked it b/c it was quiet on the highway in 5th but when I dropped it to 3rd it really woke up. I never had any rattles from the x-pipe (mine was a 1 piece)so I would say check the bolts again just to make sure. And the fumes you speak of I never had either

Another thing I noticed is that it seems like there is more noise coming from the passenger side footwell than the drivers side. Also, when I start the car especially when it's cold, I get a popping sound just as the engine fires.
