Performance: Tie
Price: JLTII
Fit/Finish: C&L

Before you ask I have the JLTII and I did have to make a small mod to the heat shield to avoid rubbing the hood liner with the oversize S&B Filter the JLTII comes with.

hehe this thread is almost identical to the one of steeda vs JLT.. the real question though.. Steeda vs C&L? aahhh!! thats a tough one

+1 on for Gene K..

I went with fit/finish/quality, and I was told brenspeed would give me a $500 discount on a stage 2 saleen if i got the steeda.. I haven't asked them if that was true or not yet though.

edit: w/o the discount I would of had a tough choice.. but if the extra cost of the C&L isn't an issue for you then I'd say go for it.. You'll appreciate the superior build quality.

go with the c&l racer intake. i love mine. plus it comes with the hard plastic tube. you will love the power increase that both provide. just make sure the tunes come from a good tuner. that is where the real difference is. enjoy.

I got the JLT 2 because brenspeed told me i'd lose a little preformance because i dont have many mods that will take advantage of it... Does anybody know where i can get a nice heat sheild that will fit it? i dont like the one the jlt comes with...

See....I disagree with most of you fellas....

I got the JLT because of how clean and neat it looked under my hood.....I just think is has great looks.

Performance? JLT definitely holds it own......If I do a cai/intake on the new one....she's getting the JLT too. (i'm a very loyal girl......at least to my car) lol

Let's face it JLT is just a little expensive for a piece of PVC pipe. I also never thought it would be a great idea to spray nitrous into a piece of PVC pipe....but that's just me.

I'd get the C&L, of course I'm partial.
