Thanks for all the help, I didn't realize there were such problems with the JLT in terms of fitting. Does the metal heat shield of the Steeda have issues due to engine heat? I was also looking into the C&L either racer or street, not sure which yet, any comments on those?
Darn near impossible to have heat issues with the Steeda heat shield. It's made of stainless steel. I went with the Steeda and BamaChips tune and I'm very happy with the setup.

All of the CAI's are equivalent in performance. Disregard the HP claims. Buy the one that fits your pocket and pleases your eyes while considering what you've read here.

I have no experience with any of them besides the Steeda and I'm very pleased with mine.

Love my steeda... but pretty sure C&L, JLT, and Steeda are the top three intakes for majority... I just see a lot of those names in people's signatures. Performance wise, really isnt a HUGE difference at all, more depends on the tune... But in the long run, of course the bigger intake wins... but again, talkin maybe a 3-4 hp difference???
