y not just stay with factory springs? if you get aftermarket ones youll have to change them every 20 to 25000 miles...my uncle is using factory springs with 700 rwhp

I'm looking to compliment it with a Whipple 500HP SC in the Spring.
Better search for a blower caminstead because these cams arent compatibale for making power on a forced induction engine.

He might be making 700 HP but does he have cams with different than factory lift and such. The SPR require springs because they are stock specs.....why would i have to replace springs that are meant for the new cams?? Hell i would be replacing the stock springs every 7-10k probably if i stuck with them by your logic

variable cam timing.....and you can run some cams without new springs there is not doubt about it. Comp cams has 4 versions of there NSR that will allow for this. But all other sets from Comp and all from Blow by Racing suggest that you replace the springs. I looked at Crower selection too and with teh lifts they advertise you would need to replace the springs will those too.

You can always get a custom regrind that would allow you to keep the stock springs but the "no springs" cams are fairly new and provide the lowest of gains out of all the different version out there.

Anyone running over 6500 RPMS on a fairly consistent basis with new cams will want new springs

False.

Ford documentation said you can use the stock valvetrain. You do need a way to tune it.

Yep,

www.americanmuscle.com

Get an SCT with a cold-air intake or rear gear. Both are awesome deals.

or

http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...kits-0510.html

Get the 4.10's for the 'holy jeebus' effect.
