I would of used the search but for some reason it does not work.

I was looking at getting the 87, 91 performance and 91 torque tunes for $115. Is anyone running their tunes. Chime in and let me know your experiences and if it is worth it.

We do have very good tuners around these parts but I just don't think I have enough supporting power mods to justify paying 400-500 for a tune yet.

You really need the 91 race tune...it's the best. I'd also get an 87 performance just in case you
stuck somewhere that only has 87 oct gas.

I ran Dougs 91 Race tune for about a month but changed to his 91 Torque tune, getting a tad better mileage with it & better around town power.

Race tune is all you need. His tunes push the AFR, though, so after getting the tune, I would get it dynoed to check the AFR. You can send the graph to Doug and he'll update the tune to maximize power and dial in the AFR.

OK...These are the tunes I was thinking about. The 87 performance for around town. The 91 performance and the 91 torque for race day although I am not much of a racer? What is the difference between the 91 torque and 91 race tunes?

I drive 120 miles round trip each workday to going to and from work and use the BamaChips 87 Octane Performance tune for the DD duties. When I plan on going to the drag strip, I switch over to the BamaChips 93 Octane Race tune. I have the BamaChips 91 Octane Torque tune also, but rarely run with that one. I will tell you, I love all these tunes (and I have a manual trans) and can tell which one is loaded on my car with out looking at the programmer. The only thing that will make me switch from Doug is a Whipple or a Rotrex.

So I just finished getting off the phone with Doug and he recommended and we decided on the 87 performance, 91 torque and 91 race tunes. Here in Calgary it is hard to find 93 octane but 94 ethenol blendis available but at a few select stations so that is why I decided on the above tunes.

I have the 87 perf, 91 torq & 93 race. I have only tried the 87 & 91 tunes and I think they're great. Going from steeda canned tunes, the difference was instantly noticeable.

I use the 93 race tune for daily driving and LOVE IT!

Doug's service has been fantastic too.

I got a Bamachips 91Octane race tune in my daily driver. No problems at all.
