Dynoed yesterday, looking for input...

Dynoed yesterday, looking for input...
I don't know if I am on track or not... Also don't know if what people are telling me is true or not.
Initially I thought there were Mustang Dynos & Dynojet dynos.
I thought I was getting dynoed with a dynojet... when I got this done.
I wanted to see if my numbers were on par with Kenne Bell's claimed 500+ rwhp http://www.kennebell.net/
They use DynoJets.
I found out later I went to "the heartbreaker" dyno (Dyno Dynamics)
Here's the results:
HP vs. Torque
They then took the number and multiplied it by 1.29 to come up with my Crank HP 471hp\425tq (is this a correct calculation?)
Here's the other Data for:
Boost
Air/Fuel
Dyno Settings they used
So basically Kenne Bell says 500+ rwhp and Dyno Dynamics says 365rwhp... How can they be that far off?
Any other KB guys have dyno numbers from a "Dyno Dynamics" machine I can compare with?
I went in for clarity and now I am just even more confused than ever.
Thanks for any input...

There is no way that your only pushing 365rwhp with that system. If anything the numbers they are saying to your crank are the numbers that are really 2 your wheels.

The more I look at the sheets though, the more I think their dyno's computer is messed up. Because there is really no way that there is proof that you were pushing 8 lbs of boost and only putting 365rwhp to the dyno.

RE: Dynoed yesterday, looking for input...
Multiplying by 1.29 to get crank HP is wrong too.
crank_hp * (1.0 - (%loss/100)) = RWHP, where %loss = 15% for manual, 20% for auto.
So, if you had 588 crank_hp, then RWHP = 588 * (1.0 - 0.15) = 499.8
So that's approx what you should have, give or take a little.

I am starting to think the only way to find out if I am making what I should be is to race another KB stang & see if I can keep up!
Or I suppose I could drive to KB and have them do my dyno numbers! haha

something is not right....even taken into account the high temps something is not right..question I have is, is the dyno guy familiar with how to dyno a s197?
did he dyno it in 4th?
if he dynoed it in 3rd that will have a big negative impact...
however, dont get too caught up in dyno numbers...its your assometer and how it runs is what should matter...

I just see videos like this one http://youtube.com/watch?v=0RwEBLzhlXI
And I am pretty sure mine isn't that fast...
Also, you would think that in 2nd gear I could hit the throttle and spin the tires without using the clutch and smoke em...?
Well, I cant!
Then I went with 3.73's hoping that would do it...
Nope.
I have the stock 18" Bullitt Rims with the stock BFG tires and in 2nd gear I won't break traction by stepping on the gas.
When I first bought the kenne bell, I assumed I'd be able to smoke em in 3rd gear at will... Not even close.
So now I am just trying to determine if it's just me and overinflated expectations or is it the car not really putting out.
Thanks for reading...

+1^^^^
my 05 AUTO with the saleen and 8lbs of boost and STOCK 3.31 gears would tear the tires off of 1st....2nd and 3rd..(now thats not a good thing as I was simply not getting traction) however I think you get my point....something has definitely got to be up.....

Go to PSR!! You will get a much better dyno tune and greater numbers! They specialize in mustangs. They dyno tuned my nitrous car too. They are located on 26th ave and mcdowell...Go onto any local forums and you will see they are one of the number 1 rec. shops in AZ especially for mustangs. Tell them fernando recomended you.
