What is the cost of a forged shortblock? I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of $$$ it would cost. What does it usually run to have one installed? From what I've read the 6.2L is no longer in the plans for the F-150 or Mustang:

"A 6.2-liter version would have been the premiere gas engine for the new Ford F-150. Instead, sources say rapidly rising fuel prices and lower than expected fuel economy numbers have ended any hope of this motor reaching production in the F-150, as well as other Ford vehicles like the Mustang."

Although it might eventually replace the 6.8L like I have in my F-250:

"Sources say the Boss program is still alive, for now, but only as a future engine for Fordâ€™s Super Duty pickups, where itâ€™s expected to replace the 6.8-liter gasoline V-10."

I run about 11psi all day on my daily driver with about 460 rwhp and so far and everything has held up well. I'm thinking of pushing the limit closer to 500rwhp here once I get my cams and new tune
