Definitely get the TVS. But I would still be considering the Whipple if I were you.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the Roush SC with Inter cooler, especially compared to the Whipple?
Mama always said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

Well I would not get the "base" Roush, but the new one is supposed to be good from what I have read. From what I understand it is still an Eaton which means it is a pusher not a true compressor. This just means you will have higher IAT's. Might matter might not depending on how much boost you want to run.

For $5300 you can get a Whipple HO so it is just the install you are saving.

I would check on the Saleen first before I made any decisions.
Yeah but with the Whipple the best price I could get for the kit plus installation is over 8K. To keep the ford 3/36,000 warranty it would have to be installed by a Ford Dealership and they want 9 - 10k for it! Roush is reputable and a buddy works for them and they are local if I have any problems or need to re-tune! Yes, I could go see Lidio too for a tune. But Roush will tune for free (once I buy the ROUSHchargerif I add other modslike changing the pulley.

Plus the maxI would probably go with boost is 10PSI. Unless i did some serious internal work. Cam, Rods, Pistons and maybe heads, etc.

I think the price went up a little bit right after I bought mine.

You can get the Whipple HO for under 6K easily.....where is the other 2K comimg from??? a shop might charge 500-700 for the install and you can run the canned tune for a while and have it dyno tuned later

I would go withy that new TVS blower. Can't beat that deal and it should kick some butt and you will be unique compared to all those Whimples.

I am not sure where you are getting your pricing for the Whipple but I got a price from Lido two weeks ago that was $7500 out the door for my 07' Shelby GT. That included 60# injectors, chasis dyno tune, Whipple HO and all labor.
