Help with some Sophisticated Madness
Hello, I am a first time owner of a mustang (2006) and I just took delivery last night. After browsing through posts for hours this is obviously a wealth of information.
My question lies with what provides the most 'bang for the buck' as far as increasing the power and performance of the vehicle. The goal in the end would be to replace the intake, exhaust, wheels, tires, and suspension. But where to start? Which mods would provide the most power/performance increase for the least amount of money?
I just dropped a half a year's salary on the car, can't go blow the mortgage money on the mods... yet.
Thank you guys and gals!

I've spent as much in mods as I did for the car. Hahaha......silly me
It was fun though, but its something I'll never do again (increased insurance......hassles etc)
Most bang for buck is an intake and tune. I sugges the C&L Racer intake package from Brenspeed.

^agreed, intake and tune. A lot go for an aftermarket exhaust also. But BE CAREFUL!!!! The mod bug bites REAL hard around here. Before you know it you will have a laundry list of mods that total in the THOUSANDS of dollars. GOOD LUCK!!!

Gears..., wont get you better numbers but will make your car feel more beastly. I don't have them yet but my buddy does, he agrees that it was the best mod that he has done.

This is his first time being an owner of a 06 Mustang.
He bought it and took delivery of it. Pretty simple.
C&L intake and tune.

She actually, but that's what I meant. Never owned a Mustang before, always an SUV. But you get rid of the boat and you can get rid of the SUV. Thanks for all the replies I'll definetly be following the advice.
