Default Which water temp gauge did you use?

I am going to be installing a meziere water pump this weekend and thought that it might be a good idea to install a water temp gauge as well. If you've done this, what gauge did you install, where did you install it and where did you install the sending unit?

I know most people have probably installed theirs in a pillar pod or in a dash pod but this is the only gauge Ineed and don't want to have to either buy gauges I don't want/need or have empty spots in the pods so I will be installing this singly.

if you are only going to have one
gauge, you might consider the
aeroforce interceptor. it can monitor
the cylinder head temps and a
whole lot more.

I looked into that but it's a little pricey for what I need and it measures cylinder head temp, not a true water temp.

ok just checking....

as for placement of the sending unit, you
can use the coolant plug that is on the drivers
side of the engine block, or you can use the
autometer adapter, that goes inline with
the radiator hose.

the gauge itself can go in a vent pod, or in between
the center vents.
