I'm fairly confident I could do some of these jobs myself if I could get some detailed (and I mean ridiculously detailed - pics of each step and such) instructions or perhaps a video of someone doing them that I could use as reference during the job.

I was just wondering what it would cost if I decided that my car deserved better hands working on it than my own, lol.
I was a complete noob too. The first mod I EVER installed on my car was my Hurst shifter. The only thing I haven't been able to do on my own was my UDP and that was because my compressor wasn't powerful enough to remove the crank bolt. Find TacoBill's howto's, they're pretty much the best write up's you're going to find.
