What Cams?

What Cams?
Well, I don't know if it's just me, but the search doesn't work for me and I'm not about to go through pages and pages to get some answers/opinions.
I'm ready to order cams and I'm wondering which ones will be best all around? I want a lopey cam but one that will work well with an S/C. My three choices are the FRPP Hot Rod cams, BBR stage II cams with manley springs, or Crane stage 4 cams with manley springs.
What are your thoughts and opinions? How will daily driving be affected by the crane stage 4's?
Thanks!

RE: What Cams?
You dont need the search, if you look on page one and the second and maybe third page you'll see several threads on cams. Its been a popular subject lately. Even f its talking about the hot rod cams in the subject, go into the thread and people talk about other cams too. Numbers and so on.

RE: What Cams?
I went through a couple of threads and not much of the info helped besides the fact that there is nothing wrong with using the Hot Rods with a blower. Didn't see anything about the Crane's or BBR's

I haven't really seen many people that swap out cams anyways, I guess they dont think its worth the $. Personally I went with the comp cams stage 2 SPR blower cams. There said to have a pretty lopey idle and you can see gains up to 45 rwhp. I'm pretty excited. I'm getting them installed next early next week.

RE: What Cams?
Correct, cams are at the bottom of the list of things to do so not many people do them. If you want a blower cam then avoid and NSR cam because you wont get near the gains and you are much more likely to bust a spring also.

My car went in today for the upgrades. I went with the FRPP Hot Rod Cams (PN M-6550-3V).
Also having the following done at the same time:
BBK Ceramic Polished equal length Shorty Headers
Steeda Red Powder Coated Valve Covers
BamaChips Custom Tune for the cams
Steeda UDP
FRPP 3.73 Gears
BBK Chrome Plenum Cover

Why cams?
Get a smaller pulley.
What Kenne Bell do you have the 2.6 or the 2.4?
What size is the pulley do you have on it? (inches)

I want cams mainly for the sound right now. I'm still on the stock block and with just my blower I can top out the HP/TQ rating that the blocks supposedly can handle. So gains really don't matter that much to me, it's just what will sound best and what will work good with the KB.
I've listened to a few Comp cams but none of them really have a lopey idle like I want...

RE: What Cams?
I was just wondering.
Cause I have the 2.6L Kenne Bell and have a 3.5" pulley 11-12 psi
Dynoed 510/502
But I bent a rod in a week
Im going thru the whole rebuild thing right now
I shoulda stayed with the 3.75"
