Have you tried holding the nozzle upside down? Though I'm in the US, I have the same gas tank venting issue most everyone else does - that gets the job done when she decides to not take a steady flow.

Too large as it won't fit into the hole or just slow slow to fill?
It to large you should be able to purchase a NATO adapter. I remember years ago German gas pumps were to large for American cars and we had to use this adapter that you slid onto the pump nozzle.

PM'd

The nozzel fits the hole but just locks off. I can get her 3/4 full but never done a full tank (she's only got 700 miles on the clock)

Its a complete pain in the **** upside down helps but doesnt stop it completely.

Hey bud,

I am living in England (Milton Keynes) and have an '05!

I had the same problem when filling her up but then I turned the handle of the gas nozzle to the 3 O Clock position and the car filled up great!

hey nick,

Down near Crawley (sussex) so you're only up the road...

I'm just about to go and try and fill her up to get back to surrey (from exeter) without stopping to refill again. (maybe i'll get more than 3/4 in)

Glad to hear there at least 3 in the UK!

Bet your one gets some looks from the chavs up there
