Default Stinger Exhaust Install

I just put on my new FRPP Borla Stingers. I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to cars, but I like to think I'm learning pretty quick and these stingers were my first real mod. Being a novice I was very happy with my install, only took about 2hours. I was thrown for a loop when I realized the left side had a different bracket hanger than the right. I fired it up and it sounded great. The only problem is, theres a small leak on each side. I put the clamps over the muffler/pipe where they notch up. Should I of put the clamps below those notches leaving them exposed? If I cant get the leaks to stop, should I use muffler tape or get them welded? I'm planning on getting a new mid pipe in the future, so I'd rather not weld, but don't want the leaks. Any help will be appreciated. Pics coming soon.

Default RE: Stinger Exhaust Install

Put the clamps just below the notches! mine still leaked too FWIW...maybe use 2 clamps one above and one below the notch would probably stop the leaking. the stingers are the only axlebacks ive ever had this problem with...good luck!
