Default Manual Transmission Fill Technique.

I have read some posts on here that mention filling the manual 3650 tranny can be a challenge. I just filled mine and never spilled a drop. All I did was push a funnel into a length of hose, snaked it down along the exhaust behind the engine and put the end into the fill hole.
Pictures attached:

haha....i was just talking about this in the RP thread.

You can also feed it through the shifter hole inside the car if you want. Either way work better than using a pump IMO

Yes, I would have done it through the shifter hole but since I installed the MGW, I didn't want to poke holes in the Dynamat or have to peel back all the layers of rubber etc.

What did you use to fill the trans? And why?

I used a simple household kitchen funnel and a length of Sunroof drain hose I cobbed from work. Makes it easy and clean to fill the tranny without any pumps or waste.
Did you look at the pics?

I tired using a funnell and it sucked. Took 30 minutes for one bottle to get in. Bought a pump for 8.99 and finished in 5 minutes.

I used Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. My next fill will be RP Syncromax.

I had mine filled in a leisurely 5 minutes. Mind you, ATF flows like water. But, it was easier than taking out the center console to access the fill hole through the shifter hole. And it was a lot cheaper than a pump. The beauty of it is that not one single drop was spilled or wasted.
