Who has the most hp/tq on a stock block?
Just curious, but who has real high hp/tq numbers on a stock block? Doesn't matter which type of power adder. Just curious to how far some have pushed the stock block and for how long? Thanks and please try and keep the stupid comments out of here.
I have 470rwhp and 443ft/tq. Have had it for like 5 months now.

RE: Who has the most hp/tq on a stock block?
+1.. modaddict is working on having the most hp/tq on the stock block.. I think there are people who have done 800rwhp
with stock internals some people have been running fine on 500+rwhp.. JDM I believe is tuning most of those.
some people have blown their engines on 460-470rwhp.. it's all in the tune.

The block should hold up very well.....do you mean stock internals (rods, etc)?

I tend to think in this case that driving habits have more to do with it than a tune, not to say a tune doesn't play a part though. I'm sure with about 500whp you can drive like a granny and have the engine last forever, or drive like a bat out of hell and explode within a few weeks.
