Default H&R Race Springs - Possible Camber Problems

Hey guys,

I just bought a set of H&R Race Springs (1.4" rear drop/ 1.5" front drop according to H&R) but I have not installed them yet. I know that there is a high probability of have camber issues when the car is lowered more than an inch from the stock setup. I was wondering if anyone has put these springs on their mustang, and if so were there any camber related problems. Also, in the event of too much camber, what is the most economic way of correcting the problem.

Thanks!

Default RE: H&R Race Springs - Possible Camber Problems

Its not that you will have camber 'problems', its that lowering the car will increase the negative camber and will also change the toe a little bit. This is good for handling, the front will stick better but can hurt long term tire wear, the inside edge of the fronts can wear at a higher rate.

The most econmical way to give yourself some camber adjustment is via camber bolts, they cost roughly $40.

i went with prokit from eibach and imo buy camber plates or camber bolts.. i cant even tell you how bad the wear difference between the indside and outside of the tire. jus spend a lil extra now and save your tires in th long run..

vinny
