+1, FL heat sucks for speed, good for scantly dressed women. I can live with that compromise.

Yea it gets pretty hot over here in So cal too, thats why my first mods were colder spark plugs and a huge aluminum radiator.

I added a bottle of water wetter to both my rad and intercooler.

I have a 190 deg thermostat and it never really gets above 190-195, so I dont think I have a cooling problem.

Now if I auto x or something then I would probably see a problem but in a DD.

When I rebuild the motor I plan on upgrading the rad.

I put a bottle of Super Coolant in instead of water wetter. My next radiator and intercooler flush im going to put 80 percent distilled water and the rest coolant with a bottle of water wetter. I should hurry up and install my water temp gauge as I am curious what my temps are. its just sittin in the back seat.

So i've got a question about the powerband for a twin screw. Some of you are saying that you only get into the boost when you're WOT... and the rest of the time it's like driving a stock GT.

But let's say both cars are driving in 3rd gear at 40mph and both drivers increase the throttle to 1/3 of the way to WOT would they accellerate at the same pace since the boosted GT isn't getting into the boost?

Would both cars needs to go WOT in order for the difference in power to come to light?

It is not on/off like I think nitrous would be (never ridden in a nitrous equipped car). The difference between a centri and twin screw is a twin screw can make full boost at almost any rpm.

I have not tested at what pedal position the engine will go into boost, but it's not WOT, more like 50-75%. Driving normally I never get into boost.

No, it would drive like a car with intake and tune at the very least. It may not be cramming extra air into the engine at 1/3 throttle, but it's allowing more air flow than a stock gt would.

How do you have a 190 stat? The stock one is 180 and the one with the whipple is 160, unless they changed it.
