Default Twin Screw question

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but something I read in another post confused me.

With any TS blower, does boost (and the power that comes with it) come on at partial throttle inputs or only full throttle.

only full throttle. The car drives like stock at part throttle. I could drive a thousand miles and not see any boost. But when you do want it floor it and reap the torqie goodness.

TS is the best street blower IMO because it drive like a big block. But I will admit I am biased.

Ok, so what I read elsewhere was correct. I am officially surprised.

I know centri's build boost gradually compared to a TS, but is the extra power available at partial throttle?

you don't need to floor it or (wot it) to see boost. If you push the pedal 3/4 of the way down suddenly you will go from vacume to a boost.

Yeah - but that's kind of 'tricking' the car, John. Specifically the drive by wire system.

The reality is a TS should only see boost at WOT, but it sees full boost instantly which makes it ***** best for the street IMO.

Although, I am biased too...lol

So would you describe it as an on / off switch?

More like a fun / utopia switch (unless the temp is 95 plus outside and your car is pulling timing like a mother)

Tell me about it, living in FL the summer is killer. I see ambient temps above 100 deg all the time. My IAT's go through the roof.

Waiting for the winter months (70 deg lol) to hit the track.
