Im looking to buying a used 05'-07'(if cheap)mustang really soon. Im getting a v8 for sure but I wanted to know which year was better. I know the 07' had the aux. jack which i really would love to have but im looking for a cheaper car. I also know the 05' didnt have a trunk release which would be nice to have. So basically I'm looking for info whether it be performance or whatever between the 3 years. Most likely it'll be between the 05' and 06' though.

All years are basically the same. If you can afford it, I would look at 07 and if not 06 models. As with just about any new car platform, the first model year out has bugs. Don't get me wrong, the 05's are fine, they did have some recalls.

None have the trunk release either ( in glove box).
