thanks cmarshall and i'm sure you'll have a great install. for those who don't
have access to the ford special tools or just don't want to purchase them because
of the cost, it's a no brainer to get on over to freedom racing and rent their cam swap tools.

hey hammy im new to this forum thing altogether but i must say i went to one of the top rated techinical schools for automotive technology and your write up was instructionally better then alot of material i reviewed in school HATS OFF TO YOU

Yes, it is ! I read a lot about the Hotrods especially cause I had some doubts using them FI but..
Well, at this time my 2005 GT is taking care of Hot rod cams , Kooks LTH's, high flow catted X-pipe, Comp. CAI, GT5OO dual fuell pump, 60lb injectors, catch cans, bigger intercooler and a custom tune for the SCT.
In a week or maybe a few days more, the job will be done.
Together with the E-force and other mods it should be awesome.

Ok I am going to do my second cam install a set of Comp 127450's with Phaser limiters.
I used the instructions on my first NSR cam intall and here we go again thanks Hammeron!

i have a stock Gt and thinking about doing cams. should the delete plates be done? And what stops the valve from falling when the spring is compressed?

regarding the delete plates... if you would have to pay for a second tune, you may as well do them along with cams.

as far as the valves... they stay with the spring as it gets compressed.
