The dyno that is used in the shop is the same one that is at the dyno days. So how does that work? I'm sorry but I've never ever heard of this or ever seen it. I've been to a bunch of dyno day that VMP has attended. My car put down great numbers and if this is true than it must be a freak of nature if the numbers are supposed to be higher. LOL!

I'm with you there, you would need to ask the owner why this happens. My last exp. (3 out of 3) was at CFM open house and 80% of everyone dyno'ed that day were all super upset with their numbers. Most people had copies of their past in-house dyno sheets from VMP and beleive me a "Huge" diff.. As I said in my orig. post save your money and buy a cool mod. with the 60.00 bucks. I did over here a few customers ask "why" this could be and I was told the dyno was not up to par. If that was case then way accept money for the dyno test? Shame on me once.........three times I should know better.

I'd go and dyno my car again to see if there is a difference, but unfortunately I've changed the COP's, drive shaft, clutch and tires since then, so the results would be skewed somewhat.

I can't tell any difference in power, but you'd need a good boost in hp to feel a difference over 400rwhp. I did notice smoother acceleration at part throttle and the exhaust sounds smoother.

moose, you are trapping over 117 in the 1/4, I don't think you need to worry about any dyno numbers

I'm not worried about dyno numbers. Someone was questioning the accuracy of their mobile dyno when it's mobile. I happen to have my car dynoed on their dyno and my numbers were very low compared to others running the same setup. I don't know why the dyno would read lower outside the shop, but I guess i'm not the only one with low numbers from their dyno.

If it would just stop raining, i'd post up some 11 second ET's.
